Emeritus Professor of Economics and Statistics, University of York

Director of the Centre for Experimental Economics (EXEC) at the University of York

My main research is in individual decision-making under risk and ambiguity, both static and dynamic. I use experimental methods.

I am delighted to be able to report that a Special Issue of Theory and Decision was published in my honour.

I am honoured to have been invited to give the University of Lancaster Esmee Fairbairn Lecture 2014.

I co-organised the Foundations of Utility and Risk 2018 conference in York in June.

I spent the month of May 2018 visiting the Department of Economics at La Sapienza, Rome.

I will be spending the month of April 2019 visiting Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University.
