5.10-6.50pm ~ opening/welcome master class (for all levels of practitioners)
6-9 pm ~ Maha Sadhana ~ The Great Divine Whole Practice as passed by Sri Dharma Mittra in ancient Hatha-Raja tradition. For all levels of practitioners.
- Includes Kriyas – yogic cleansing techniques that promote internal purification on the physical and subtle levels; Shiva Namaskar – challenging yet accecable asana practice; Deep Healing Relaxation and reflective Meditation. Personal attention and helpful hints are given throughout this challenging practice, making it an effortless experience of true goal of yoga.
9-9.45 am ~ Purification Sequences: Pranayama, Meditation: This sequence includes ancient pranayama (breathing), visualisation and concentration techniques. Pranayama uses the breath and the entire respiratory system to purify and strengthen the nerves, which leads to greater control of the senses and calmer and clearer mind; purifies the physical body and the subtle body of toxic impurities. Created by Sri Yogi Dharma Mittra.
9.45-11 am ~ Fundamental Shiva Namaskar Vinyasa and 6 main poses as vehicle to mind-body-spirit harmony: Simple yet powerful series of fundamental yoga Asana (postures) gives you an indepth understanding of main principles in order to build a strong foundation for your unique practice according to the personal need, or being able to assist others. To be practices daily for ultimate health and realization of everyone’s unique, individual potential – Supreme Self.
1-3 pm ~ Master Class for all levels. (public): The carefully selected inspirational Yoga postures in Sri Dharma Mittra's Shiva Namaskar Vinyasa series are a culmination of his 50 years dedicated service to humanity. Be ready for an amazing challenging yet accessible practice with rare asana variations. Personal attention and helpful hints are given throughout this challenging practice, making it an effortless experience of true goal of yoga. Includes Pranayama, Yoga Nidra, Meditation.
5-6 pm ~ Satsang. Yoga Sutras: Yama, Niyama: Yamas and Niyamas are the First and Second Limbs of Yoga Science. They represent 5 ethical rules and 5 personal disciplens (or observanses) without which no purification of Heart and Realization of Supreme Self can be achived. Applying Yamas and Niyamas in moment-to-moment situations, one begins to develop compassion and unconditional love towards every aspect of the Self and the World, recognizing Oneness.
6-7 pm ~ Yoga Nidra - Deep Healing Relaxation: Best antidote for all impurities, it dispels tension and fatigue in the physical body; relieves depression, anxiety, craving; rejuvenates and energizes all systems – physical and subtle – bolstering the human’s natural healing capacity, leading to integral purification of all aspects of human being (physical, energetic, emotional, mental and spiritual).

2.30–3.30 pm Self-Knowledge. Koshas: In this lecture we will explore the Five-Fold Sheath of the human being – Koshas – and how they interact in our daily life. By coming to understand the nature of all Sheath one comes to the Wholeness of the Self, utilizing every aspect of being to its highest potential, guided by the Atman (Divine True Self).
3.30-4.30 pm ~ Psychic Development technic: Includes specific breathing exercises, directed visualizations, and powerful mantras to establish perfect psychic rhythm to mental patterns which puts power behind your thoughts making it easier to achieve your goals in life. These ancient techniques have only been passed down by word of mouth from teacher to disciple and continue to be taught in this way. This class culminates in a final meditation to manifest your soul longings into the world.
~ Closing Meditation – We Are One (healing relationship to the self and the world)
has been a dedicated teacher for over 9 years, with a specialty in Dharma Yoga, which is a Hatha-Raja Yoga passed in authentic tradition by Sri Dharma Mittra. He is an avid student of Bhakti yoga, Karma yoga, Sanskrit, meditation and pranayama (sacred breathing practices), and is also a Thai yoga masseuse, which has enlightened his teaching and knowledge of body dynamics. He is committed to healing and helping others reach their full potential.
Yiannis began studying yoga when he moved to the United States from Greece in 2002. He met the great yoga master Sri Dharma Mittra, with whom he has been studying and practicing full time ever since, and had completed Dharma Yoga Life of a Yogi 200/500hr Teacher Training program.
Inspired and awed by the way that yoga has transformed his life, Yiannis teaches so others may also experience the many amazing benefits of yoga to the body, mind and soul. He feels incredibly grateful and blessed to be able to share all that yoga has to offer in a positive and inspiring way.
Yiannis’s yoga classes are deeply focused, but also fun, spontaneous, and appropriate for all levels of practitioners, as various options and variations of each pose are always offered. Coordinating movement with breath allows for the detoxification of energy channels, deeper concentration and meditation, and works to elevate and balance his students’ energy. His warm-hearted humor and sincere devotion make every class a unique and pleasurable experience.
