In search of something new, Snježana came to yoga. At her first yoga class, she met her teacher Peter Carmichael, and thanks to Petra, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga became her personal practice. When Divya Yoga Center opened, she intensified and deepened her personal practice and began to practice other yoga styles (Vinyasa Yoga and Dharma Yoga). As yoga has been started to be part of her daily life, this led her to the Divya Yoga School basic teacher training (TT 200h) in May 2010, where, with teachers Petra Carmichael and Sandra Petra Pintarić, she acquired new skills and knowledge. In the same year, she finished the intensive yoga training in Coimbra, Portugal, where she studied with Bruno Bartulich, which completely changed her former habits. TT 200h for Vinyasa Yoga (Multi style) ended in May 2011, and in December 2012 she completed with success the advanced teacher training (TT 500h). She continuously attend on various workshops and retreats with both Croatian and international teachers. During her frequent stays in Portugal, she practices in the studio Casa Vinyasa in Lisbon (with teacher Isa Guitana Wong) and with teachers Tarik van Prehn Praça & Lea Perfetti. She is an economist by profession.
Various challenges and obstacles that she encounters in her personal practice only inspire her to go along the same path. In her dynamic yoga classes, she seeks to impart her dedication and discipline to others. Yoga is a tool which helps her to reopen the suppressed part of her being and to come closer to the essence. The transformation is not easy but it is possible.
