Welcome!
If you are interested in volunteering in the Yarmouth School District it is necessary/required that a Volunteer Registration form is filled out and signed EACH year.  Registration forms are available in the offices at the Rowe School, Yarmouth Elementary School and Harrison Middle School.  Forms for each of the schools are also available for downloading and printing through the links below.

Looking forward to a wonderful and exciting year of learning!

The College Preparatory United States History students at YHS have started their Public Policy Projects and are set to present their research and policy recommendations during the week of February 13-17.

In order to best prepare our students, we would like to have community members come into our classes to help prepare our students for their presentations.

We would like our students to have the opportunity to conference one-on-one with community members with a background in public policy for about 20 minutes. The students would share their research, talk about their project, and discuss their ideas for a policy recommendation.

Your thoughts, advice, and guidance could really help our students effectively reflect on their work and better prepare them for the final presentation.

If you are willing and able to help out, please sign up on this site. We plan to do this for each of the following CP US History classes:

Monday, February 6: 8:15-9:45 a.m.  & 11:15 a.m. - 12:40 p.m.

Tuesday, February 7: 11:15 a.m. - 12:40 p.m.

Thank you very much for considering this request.

Sincerely,

Jackie Brookes, Sarah Carrigan and Nini Emmons

On, Saturday, February 11th, the YHS Jazz Band is scheduled to attend the Berklee Jazz Festival in Boston, MA.  In order for the students to attend Rick Dustin and Joey Henricks are in need of 5 volunteers to accompany them on the trip.
The bus will be departing for Boston at 8:30 AM, arriving at the Hynes Convention Center sometime between 11:30-12. The students will unload their instruments and then have an hour for lunch in the convention hall.
From 1-2:30 students and chaperones can watch other groups perform during the festival.
The YHS Jazz Band will then  set-up/warm-up at 3, and perform  at 3:25.  There is an award ceremony from 5:00 - 6:00.  The bus will then depart for dinner on the way home at Fudruckers arriving back to YHS approximately 9:30 PM.

This trip can not take place without the help of parent chaperones - please consider helping out.
