As engineers, our toolbox contains our analytical methods. Another name for an engineer is an applied mathematician.
We approach every task with the initial goal to provide a quantitative basis for making a recommendation. We view the complete analytical process begins with acquisition, creates understanding by the correct application of mathematical and statistical techniques, and results in knowledge usable by our clients.
YarCom engineers are highly proficient users of MATLAB and SIMULINK. We are experts at data acquisition, and we have built several customized MATLAB device drivers for use with the Instrument Control toolbox. We are also experts as data acquisition using analog-to-digital converters (ADC), video capture devices (VCD), and the controlling software, including the MATLAB Data Acquisition and Image Acquisition toolboxes. We work to get answers, and the Mathworks environments are efficient and economical means to that end.Engineering Project Management
YarCom uses PRojects In a Controlled ENvironment (PRINCE II) as our primary engineering project management process. We find PRINCE II to be the most economical implementation for our customers.
