This website aims to be the guide for students of 2nd ESO at INS Salvador Dalí (2012-13).
On the left sidebar you'll find the contents divided into units and projects to be developed during the year
(Let's celebrate, Let's make a magazine, Your lifestory).
You will need:
- Computer + headsets + microphone (sometimes).
- Dossier (you'll buy it at the beginning of each term).
- Notebook (or a file). You will write down notes and activities. Your teacher can ask it at any time and mark it. It may have a 10% of the final mark.
Advice to keep a good English file
- Write the date
- Write the number of the page
- Use different colours or sizes for titles, subtitles, etc.
- Correct all the activities
- Include all the photocopies and worksheets given
- Keep margins.
- Nice handwriting.

This is a collaborativie workspace where you will post and share your assignments.
Some of the tasks will be compulsory and others will be optional.
Your teacher will give you a username and password at the beginning of the year.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Click on log in.
2. Click on the page you want to modify.
3. Click on the pencil to EDIT the page.
4. Remember to SAVE your work.
IMPORTANT
- Never edit the frontpage, please.
- Take care with your mates' work. Do not delete anything!!
EVALUATION
Evaluation in 2nd ESO is continuous and the final mark is worked out from these percentages.
70% written exams (grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening) + speaking
30% homework, attitude, participation, dossier, readers, project, etc.
DICTIONARIES
Remember, translators are forbidden!!
They make a lot of mistakes and we are not going to correct a machine.
Instead, use your Oxford dictionary or an online dictionary such as WORDREFERENCE.
