The Wyoming Military Department is proud to have historical displays in armories around the state, as well as the Veterans Memorial Museum, in Casper, and the Wyoming National Guard Museum, in Cheyenne.

The museum is a tribute to all Veterans with a connection to Wyoming. It is also a repository for the heritage of the former WWII-era Casper Army Air Base. It is an official partner of the Library of Congress Veterans History Program. The museum is located at the Casper/Natrona County International Airport. The Wyoming National Guard Museum’s mission is to honor all Wyoming National Guard men and women who have served since 1870. The building was built in the 1930s as a Wyoming National Guard warehouse.
