Meeting will be held in Room 302 in the Capitol, Cheyenne.
Minutes for the Cheyenne meeting (10/22) can be viewed from the Timeline or Documents Library. As the business of the Task Force is concluded until next year, we do not anticipate posting anything further on this site for the time being. Public comment will continue to be monitored.
The Task Force interim report has been uploaded to the documents library. You can also access it by clicking here.
Following changes made at the meeting today in Cheyenne, an updated draft summary of options can be found on the tab to the right.
Additionally, minutes from the Casper meeting (10/3) were approved and have been posted.
As noted previously, the next meeting of the FTF will be in Cheyenne, on Wednesday Oct 22nd, from 9:00 - 15:00 in the Wyoming Veterans' Commission Conference Room. The Veteran's Commission building is at 5410 Bishop Blvd. A map to the location is attached. Attendees will need to sign in at the front desk.
The Task Force has come up with four draft options for the mission of Department of Health Facilities. These have been put on this site for public comment (see horizontal navigation bar). The Task Force will meet in Cheyenne (at the Veterans' Commission building) on October 22nd, from 9:00 - 3:00 pm to finalize the options and recommendations in time for the Nov 1st deadline.
These recommendations will be provided to Joint Labor in time for their December meeting in Cheyenne; if voted out of committee, they will pass to the State Legislature during the 2015 General Session. There are many opportunities for public comment during this process.
The agenda has been posted for the meeting tomorrow in Casper. Please either see the timeline or the documents library.
Thanks to everyone for feedback thus far; the Task Force has been made aware of all the comments on this site.
As an FYI, we post the minutes from previous meetings as soon as they are approved by the Committee at the next meeting. The Aug. 20th minutes will therefore be approved and posted during the Oct 3rd meeting.
We've added capability to the Feedback tab to display the responses we've received, in descending order.
The timeline for the Task Force has been updated on the "Timeline" tab above. The plan now is to determine recommendations at the October 3rd meeting in Casper, finish a draft report shortly thereafter, and make it available on this site for public comment until the due date of Nov 1st. Because the report is not final -- legislation will need to be passed in the 2015 General Session to enact the new missions -- the public will have further opportunity to comment via the legislative process at the Joint Labor meetings and during the Session itself.
