Registration for the 2016 Cowboy State Early Childhood Conference sponsored by WYECA is now open.  

Please follow this link for information and registration https://2016earlychildhoodconference.eventbrite.com.   On the registration page you will be able to access a list of presenters and the days they will be presenting.  A final conference agenda will be sent out closer to the conference.  

Workshops will be offered Thursday Friday and Saturday with daily registration required.  Cost of attendance is as follows: 
Thursday $10
Friday $20 
Saturday $20 

August 4th 
Registration 12:30 - 1:00 pm
Workshops 1:00-2:50 & 3:00-4:50 pm

August 5th 
Registration 7:30 - 8:00 am 
Workshops 8:00-9:50, 10:00-11:50 am, 1:00-2:50 pm & 3:00-4:50 pm

August 6th 
Registration 7:00-8:00 am
Opening General Session 8:00-10:00 am

Mission:  The Wyoming Department of Family Services is responsible for licensing child care facilities and serves as the lead agency for the federal Child Care and Development Block Grant.
 
Focus: The focus of the Division of Early Childhood is on our customers: children, parents, providers and policy makers. We work collaboratively with other partners to deliver services in the most effective manner.
 
Our Commitment:
  •  ensuring that children are cared for in safe child care environments;
  • ensuring youth in out of home placement facilities are cared for in safe and healthy environments;
  • low income families receive assistance to pay for the cost of child care while they are working to achieve self-sufficiency;
  • child care providers receive training and supports necessary to improve the quality of their early care and education programs; and
  • policy makers have the information necessary to make informed decisions
