The Children’s Trust Fund was created to promote prevention and education programs to reduce child abuse and neglect incidents as well as reduce the need for state intervention. This board awards grants to communities developing child abuse or neglect prevention programs.

Community Juvenile Services Boards

Community Juvenile Services Boards (CJSB) establish, maintain and promote the development of juvenile services in communities and gear them to early identification and diversion of children and youth at risk of entering the juvenile court system in an effort to prevent juvenile delinquency. Staffers provide technical assistance for the development and implementation of Juvenile Services Boards in communities throughout the state.  Also visit the CJSB website here.

Independent Living & Re-entry Programs

Independent Living Program (ILP) services are focused on helping youth who are or were in a court-ordered placement become self-sufficient adults.  Also visit the Independent Living Program website here.

The Re-entry Program is the work of facilitating a youth’s return to his/her hometown after he/she has been to a residential treatment facility. Social Services manages the funding and contracting associated with this program.

Intensive Supervised Probation (ISP)

ISP is the work of supervising youth who have an extensive history of substance abuse and/or violent offenses.
