Community Juvenile Services Boards establish, maintain and promote the development of juvenile services in communities and gear them to early identification and diversion of children and youth at risk of entering the juvenile court system in an effort to prevent juvenile delinquency. Staffers provide technical assistance for the development and implementation of Juvenile Services Boards in communities throughout the state.
