The Wyoming State Capitol closed on December 9, 2015, for renovation and restoration.  The Capitol is expected to reopen July 2019.

If you have a Capitol Collection Passport Book and would like to get it stamped you can go to the Wyoming State Museum located at 2301 Central Ave. The stamp is in the museum gift shop.  Museum hours are Monday through Saturday 9:00 am – 4:30 pm.

We also have a second location for the stamp at the Historic Governor's Mansion located at 300 E 21st St.  Mansion hours are Tuesday through Saturday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

With the Capitol being closed for renovation and restoration the State Museum has added a Capitol exhibit on the second floor of the museum.  It doesn't replace our beautiful Capitol, but it gives you a glimpse of her past and the hope for her future.
