Mathematics (MATH) Mission Statement

To promote and provide an environment in which students 
are able to develop quantitative literacy as well as skills 
in critical thinking and data driven problem solving.  
Moreover, the department strives to enable students 
to become lifelong learners so that they continue 
to grow in their personal and professional lives.
Mathematics (MATH) Student Learning Outcomes

1. Demonstrate understanding of the language of mathematics, by               their use of symbols, definitions, word phrases, and representations.

2. Display proficiency in mathematical computations.

3. Implement mathematical techniques to solve applied problems.

4. Employ appropriate technology to demonstrate knowledge of                    mathematical concepts.

5. Employ appropriate technology to demonstrate knowledge of                   mathematical concepts.

6. Exhibit mastery of core course competencies.
