Here's what we have so far....

We absolutely love rural touring - it's all about bringing music right into the heart of a community. And the greatest thing? You never know exactly what to expect! Every village hall is different. The thing with Woodford Village hall was, that we knew as soon as we stepped into the hall that it was going to be a great evening. The hall just has something about it - it looks beautiful and really helped to created a fantastic atmosphere. And the audience? Brilliant! :) Really engaged and up for getting involved, which is what we love. We were looked after very well by Rae and the committee from start to finish - and we very much hope to be able to return soon!

This is the most attractive village hall I have ever been into

Woodford Village Hall was the perfect venue for our daughter's 1st birthday party. It accommodated our large number of guests and had more then enough space for the children's entertainment and the face painting station. The kitchen facilities exceeded our expectations and were spotless, just like the restrooms. I would not hesitate to use this venue again for future celebrations. We may even invite the chickens in next time!

(Woodford Valley panto)  What a brilliant evening, haven't laughed so much in ages.  Well done to all those who have taken part, written and been behind the scenes. Great to see the hall full - (again!) - such fun!

When looking for a venue for my 60th birthday celebrations, I was encouraged to go and have a look at Woodford Village Hall after it had a make-over.

I was very pleasantly surprised.  Fresh new paint and curtains, a refurbished kitchen, good level floor, new electrical wiring, efficient heating and clean, fresh toilets (including a disabled one).  I was given very helpful advice on access to the web; the sound and vision systems and organisations to contact to supply crockery, cutlery, linen and round tables.

The hall has its own trestle tables and boasts 80 brand new chairs which are lovely - black tubular frame with cushioned purple seats and back-rests.

The hire cost was very reasonable and I lost no time in booking it.  I had a fantastic lunch party in a beautiful hall which seated 70 guests and left room for four buffet tables and a string duet.  Many guests commented on the venue and the lovely location.  All was made even better by the ease of parking.

All in all, a brilliant day and 10/10 for the hall.
