What to Expect

My class is mainly mat-based with Pilates exercises performed either lying on your back, front, on all fours or on your side.  We start with a standing warm up and balance sequence before going to the floor.   I will often introduce the use of soft or weighted balls, resistance bands or foam rollers to increase the challenge.

What to bring with you

Please bring your own mat (yoga type) and you may like to bring a towel and a bottle of water.  Wear comfortable clothes that allow for easy movement - but not so baggy that I cannot see your body alignment.   You do not need trainers, we work in bare feet or sometimes in socks if it is a little chilly!
