Upcoming 2018 Events!

Save the dates:  WSMS is pleased to announce three evening events, FREE and open to all!

  • March 28, 2018 - internationally recognized expert on school crisis, bullying prevention, youth violence, suicide intervention, self-injury, school safety and threat assessment., Dr. Scott Poland, will speak at West Springfield High School at 6:30 p.m.  Click here for more info.

  • April 12, 2018 - Gold medal-winning paralympian skier, world-class mountain climber, motivational speaker, and founder of One Revolution, Chris Waddell, will address the community at West Springfield High School at 6:30 p.m. (he also will speak to WSHS students during a school assembly).  Click here for info.

  • May 21, 2018 -  Former NBA player Chris Herren (The Herren Project; Project Purple) will share his story of addiction and recovery, “Rebound,” at West Springfield High School at 6:30 p.m. (he will address grade 8-11 students that day at the HS during a school assembly). The West Springfield CARE Coalition and WSPS invites the community to attend this powerful presentation!  Go to this link for more info.
Please also note:

        Orientation night families of fifth grade students who will be sixth graders at WSMS in 18-19 will be held on Wednesday 6/6 at 6:30 PM at WSMS.

        Our National Junior Honor Society Ceremony will be held June 13th at 6:30 PM at WSMS.
