Cafeteria Crumbs

One of our goals is to provide nicely balanced nutritious meals for our students. We attempt to offer different and pleasing formats for the most discriminating tastes on a daily basis

We usually offer two or three hot offerings a day. A few of these are on a rotating or recurring cycle
Grilled Cheese every Monday, a rotation of foot long Hot Dogs and Chicken Tenders every Tuesday and the popular Pizza every Friday Also on these days there are other choices, varying in format and popularity with dietary balance in mind

Also, for choices we have the Chef Salad offered every day along with a cold sandwich choice and Peanut Butter and Jelly Specialty salads are offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and a soup complement every Wednesday for the colder winter months

Vegetables
Along with every meal, we offer a vegetable on the menu. We do not fry any products, all are oven baked.
Also offered, as a choice, is a fresh tossed salad for those that prefer our fresh garden mix of tomatoes, Romaine lettuce, cucumbers, green peppers, broccoli and carrots

Fruit
We usually list a canned fruit with every meal, a selection of pears. pineapple chunks, peaches, fruit cocktail and apple sauce We have a stocked fresh fruit basket also at every meal, Granny Smith and a red apple, oranges, kiwi and also sometimes seasonal or other varied fruit such as watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, clementines, or peaches and pears

On occasion, we will sprinkle our offerings with cottage cheese, baby carrots, cucumber or pepper strips, or jello.

We take pride in our varied selections for your students to construct a pleasing nutritious meal for their lunch.
