Mission:  Our mission at Worthington Hills Elementary School is to provide students with strong foundations, self-confidence, communication skills, critical-thinking skills, and global intelligence through unique opportunities which encourage our students to embrace a love of learning.

Bachelors in Human Ecology, The Ohio State University (1995)

Masters in Library and Information Science, Kent State University (2013)

Formerly from Wheelersburg, Ohio, I have lived in Worthington since 2001. I have two children with my husband, Matthew. My son, Cole, graduated from Miami University, Oxford in mechanical engineering and works at Arcadis. My daughter, Alix, is graduated from Wittenberg University with a degree in education.   She teaches third grade in Hilliard City Schools.

Previously having taught Family and Consumer Sciences, grades 7-12 for Groveport Madison, Westfall and Worthington, I moved to Worthington Hills in the library over thirteen years ago. I am excited about my accomplishments in this profession and I hope to continue to build upon my educational experiences with students in grades K-5.

When I am not teaching, I appreciate spending time with my family. One of my favorite places to be is relaxing on the beach in Florida. I am a movie buff and I enjoy swimming, decorating, reading and baking.
