Mission: Our mission at Worthington Hills Elementary School is to provide students with strong foundations, self-confidence, communication skills, critical-thinking skills, and global intelligence through unique opportunities which encourage our students to embrace a love of learning.
Bachelors in Human Ecology, The Ohio State University (1995)
Masters in Library and Information Science, Kent State University (2013)
Formerly from Wheelersburg, Ohio, I have lived in Worthington since 2001. I have two children with my husband, Matthew. My son, Cole, graduated from Miami University, Oxford in mechanical engineering and works at AECom. My daughter, Alix, graduated from Wittenberg University with a degree in education. She teaches third grade in Hilliard City Schools.
Previously having taught Family and Consumer Sciences, grades 7-12 for Groveport Madison, Westfall and Worthington, I moved to Worthington Hills in the library over fourteen years ago. I am excited about my accomplishments in this profession and I hope to continue to build upon my educational experiences with students in grades K-5.
When I am not teaching, I appreciate spending time with my family. One of my favorite places to be is relaxing on the beach in Florida. I am a movie buff and I enjoy swimming, decorating, reading and baking.
