Computer, Printer and Internet Use...

Students are required to complete some assignments using a computer, printer and the internet.  I understand that not all families have access to a computer and/or internet service in their homes.  Students must plan ahead.  The WRHS Media Center is open Monday thru Thursday from 7 AM until 3:30 PM and Friday from 7 AM until 2:10 PM.  Each town has a public library equipped with internet connected computers and that is open everyday after school and at least one weekend day.

About WRHS Partnerships...

The Partnership Program is designed to give students a significant experience in an area of study that interests them. The purpose is to provide students with enough of a background in their area of study to make them competitive with their peers when either applying for jobs after high school or continuing on with post-high school studies.

Partnership Requirements

Please see the WRHS Partnership Programs webpage for partnership course requirements.

Partnership Homework Policy

The Partnership program is comprised of a variety of course studies designed to prepare students for the world of work or give them an edge in college. Although subjects vary, the Partnership Program is united in its philosophy for student homework. The WRHS Partnership Department believes homework should be purposeful and effective and will include:
  • Reinforcement of classroom learning
  • Creation of enrichment projects
  • Preparation for future material
  • Extensions to real life situations
Homework will be assigned with ample time for completion. In turn, student homework is expected to:
  • Be neat
  • Be on time
  • Meet the WRHS writing standard as necessary
  • Be original
  • Be complete
