Welcome to the Chocksett Visual Arts website! Students at Chocksett will be exposed to a variety of artists, cultures, styles, and media. Students will have the opportunity to experiment with materials and techniques to develop a better understanding of the Elements and Principles of Design. I believe middle school is a time for students to work with an array of materials and techniques to learn what they can do as artists. My goal is to promote creativity, critical thinking, organization, and problem solving skills. Most important, for the students to develop a lifelong appreciation for the arts!
