Student Drop-Off Duty

The PTO sponsors a morning drop-off area in the back of the school so that parents do not have to park their cars. And parent volunteers are needed! The duty consists of opening doors and helping students out of their vehicles from 8:25-8:45 AM. Volunteers are used Monday – Friday. You may volunteer for one day, or many! Every little bit helps!

If you would like to volunteer, please select the green button below.

Questions? Contact Marci Seidman.

Six-Day Schedule

Wakefield Public Schools operate on a six-day rotation of special classes, such as library, technology, physical education and art.To ensure your child is appropriately prepared each day, please be familiar with this rotation. (Your child’s teacher will inform you how their classroom's “specials” map to this six-day cycle.)

Order your Wakefield Public School Calendar Today

The Wakefield Educational Foundation (WEF) has created another beautiful calendar showcasing art from our talented Wakefield Public School students. This calendar is a MUST have for parents to keep their families organized throughout the school year.

WEF provides Grants for innovate and creative educational programs that are unable to be funded in the current year's school district budget.  Last year WEF funded over $25,000 in grants to the Wakefield Public School System. Every dollar earned on the purchase of a calendar will go directly back to help support these very important educational initiatives.

  • $20.00 per calendar (100% of proceeds go back to fund educational grants)
  • Easily order online (or download and complete the PDF form).
  • Includes the entire school year calendar PLUS the 6-day cycle.
  • 16 months of planning
  • Artwork from the annual Spring Wakefield Visual Art Show

All calendars will be delivered to your child's school in September. The Wakefield Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community-based organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing the excellence in educational experience offered to all students in the Wakefield Public School System.

Please contact WEF with any questions (info@wakefieldeducationalfoundation.org).

Thank you very much for your support.
