Book Fair Letter to Parents

Dear Galvin Middle School Community,

 

Fostering a love of reading is one of the most important contributions we can make to our children. Reading makes a child a life-long learner and gives them the tools required to meet challenges in the 21st century.

 

To assist in that contribution, The Galvin Middle School PTO will be sponsoring a Scholastic Book Fair.  Student s and their families will have ample opportunity to make purchases during the Fair.  Students will need cash or a check to make purchases.

 

Dates for In-school student purchases, by Homeroom #:

 

Tuesday, Feb. 5, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

  •  233, 236; 227, 229; 237, 241; 161, 181; 175, 177

 

Wednesday, Feb. 6, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

  •  212, 213, 216, 113, 123B; 205, 224, 226, 228, 111; 204, 214, 215, 217, 116; 206, 208, 210, 107, 123C;
  • 203, 207, 209, 211, 117

 

Thursday, Feb. 7, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

  • 201, 202, 243, 248; 171, 179; 231, 244; 185, 187, 189, 191

                                               

Make-up date for students who are unable to make purchases during their homeroom’s designated time:

  • 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., Friday, February 8th

 

Evening Shopping Time/Date for students to shop with family and friends:

  • 5pm - 7p.m., Wednesday, February 6th

                                               

Online purchases made be made, between the dates January 30th – February 8th at the Galvin Middle School Book Fair site at

  • Items ordered online will be shipped to the school approximately 1-2 weeks after February 8, 2013.
