Are you interested in getting more involved in our school?
We are interested in piloting Room Parents for Ms. Gallant and Ms. Martin's classes this spring. We are considering moving towards this model for the 2015-2016 school year.
Room parents contribute greatly to having a fun and successful year. Each classroom has two room parents who serve as a liaison between the teacher and the other parents in the room. The role differs slightly depending on the teacher and the needs of the classroom. This is an important role and involves a time commitment, yet no prior experience is needed! It is a great way to be involved in your child’s school year in a meaningful way.
Room Parent Responsibilities:
- Communicate regularly with the teacher about any classroom needs (supplies, volunteers, chaperones, etc.)
- Set up email communication with classroom parents (with permission) to send out event reminders, volunteer requests, etc.
- Coordinate classroom-wide gifts throughout the year (holiday and end of year)
If you are interested in being Room Parents for Ms. Gallant or Ms. Martin's class, contact Emily Fitzgerald at:email@example.com
|A SPECIAL THANK YOU:|

|Early Dismissal Procedures|
All parents/guardians who pickup a child early from school will be asked to show ID. While Mrs. Sacco and the office staff know many parents, we ask for everyone’s cooperation with this practice for consistency. We understand that checking IDs does add a minute to the dismissal process and we thank you in advance for your ongoing partnership as we take proactive steps to continue to ensure all children’s safety.
Scholastic Book Clubs
The Scholastic Online Book Club is a great way to to buy great, low cost books for your family while giving bonus points to your teacher and the media center. The more you order, the more you give to the school. The books come to the Media Center and get distributed to your child's classroom. Orders are placed twice a month, once around the first and again around the 15th.
