We will play another round of the digital divide game.  In today's game, you will create and share the link to a google document on twitter.
Mr. Cohen will show you how FIRST.

For your assigned country, you will answer these prompts in your google document (copy and paste the two word chunks):

Literacy means...
The literacy rate in my country is ...
The literacy rate for women is...
The literacy rate for men is...
This is a difference of ...
The literacy rate in the U.S. is 99% for men and women. (http://www.cia.gov)
Seeing the difference between literacy rates of men versus women in my country makes me think that...
Knowing the literacy rates between my country and the US makes me think that...

... percentage of my country's people attend college.
The percentage of men attending college in my country is...
The percentage of women attending college in my country is...
The US percentage of 18-24 year olds in college was 41.3% in 2009 (http://nces.ed.gov/).
The difference between my country and the US is...
I think the difference in the number of men and women attending college means...
I think the difference between the number of people attending college in my country versus the US means ...

2 people do the research, one person fill out the google document, change the viewing rights, and post it on Twitter WHEN you FINISH.
If you don't have a country flag, fix that.
