For the holiday season, we've added a new feature to CardioTrainer that lets you set up and follow a New Year's Resolution. Set your goal (e.g. "I will exercise twice a week for the next two months") and then get reminders and encouragement. You can also stake an amount of money to be donated to charity if you don't complete your resolution.
What if I break a leg, have a serious illness, or have another very good reason why I can't continue? We are a very kind, understanding bunch, and our goal is to see you succeed. If you have a problem like this, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will work with you to take care of it.
If you would like to reset your resolution, go to the New Year's Resolution feature from the CardioTrainer home screen. Press "More Info" at the top of the screen, then press "Reset Resolution." Please note that if you had previously purchased a donation module, you won't be automatically refunded. If you don't see the "reset resolution" button, make sure you download the latest version of CardioTrainer.
If you decide you want to stake money on your resolution, you'll be redirected to the Android Market where you can purchase one of the Donation Modules. After two months, If you were not successful in keeping your New Year's Resolution, we will donate the money you used to purchase your donation module from the Android Market to the cause of your choice.
NOTE: If you received a notification that your money will be donated and you did NOT choose to stake any money, nothing will donated unless you purchased a Donation Module from the Market — our apologies for the confusion! This was just an error with the text in the application, and we've released an update to the Market that fixes this problem, so make sure you grab the most up-to-date version of CardioTrainer.
