The Wooster City School District’s Instructional Framework is our guide to teaching, assessment, and the learning climate (Parrett & Budge, 2009). It is designed to help us focus on instruction by combining “specific expectations for student learning with specific strategies” that guide instruction and assessment. It is our mission to create a framework of variables that help establish a common definition of student success, always mindful of our goal to shape college and career ready learners who “do to learn, not just learn to do” (Daggett, 2011).
