Dear Families and Friends,
Happy Valentine’s Day!
I hope you all enjoyed the snow day. I have decided we can’t stop it from coming so we might as well embrace each storm!!!!
We have lots of reminders this week. Please be sure to be looking for reminder notes each day.
*Today we celebrated Valentine’s Day and the 100th day. Thank you so much to everyone that signed up for snacks. The students always enjoy opening Valentine cards from each other and who doesn’t like an ice cream party ! Because the celebrations happened on the same day. I am spreading out the snacks you sent in to enjoy a little each afternoon.
*Friday is an exciting day in kindergarten. We will have a cross grade level day in the morning where our focus is math. We will mix together in groups and participate in discussions and activities that have to do with math in the workplace. In the afternoon the kindergarten students will be going sledding. PLEASE send your child to school with all warm snow gear and extra socks and clothes to put on at the end of the day. If you own a sled please send it to school with your child. It should be well marked with your family name. No worries if you do not have a sled as we will have plenty to share. We would love to have helpers that day if you are available, just send me a note and let me know you are coming.
*This week we are learning about our community and all the people that help us. We are going to be talking about 9-1-1.
* Next week is vacation week. We will be back at school on Monday, February 27th.
Have a great week and a good vacation.
