Description:  World History is the study of the impact of political, economic, geographic, social and cultural forces on the history of the world from the Age of Global Encounters to the Modern Age. Students will acquire the historical knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable them to make rational and informed decisions about questions facing our interdependent world. The course focuses on the development of the following skills: note-taking, listening, outlining, reading comprehension, writing exercises, document analysis, library skills, research and critical decision-making.
