Description:  English 3 presents selections from world literature and accompanying informational texts.   Literature and informational texts are studied in depth and become the basis of research and writing assignments.  The focus is on reciprocal effects of literature and  inferential abilities. Students' writing will consist of basic exposition and reflective responses to what they read and know firsthand.  Speaking skills will be practiced through oral presentation.
