Description:  This course is for those interested in pursuing a career in marketing, advertising, market research, sales or general business management. It is designed to develop an understanding of the concepts and strategies needed to create an effective marketing effort for a product or service. In addition to the development of a marketing plan, students will plan, create and produce advertising campaigns which will include all major media including television, print and digital/social channels. Sports and entertainment marketing will also be examined over the course of the year. Students who earn a minimum grade of "C" in Marketing are eligible to receive three (3) college credits and an official college transcript from Fairleigh Dickinson University which is part of the Middle College Program.
