Achievement & Integration

"Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen."
Michael Jordan

What does Achievement and Integration Mean to WMEP?

WMEP is dedicated to providing an equitable educational experience for our students. Providing students with a world class education requires developing cultural competency skills along with academic skills to excel in postsecondary situations and beyond. Our achievement & integration work is based around providing students and staff with cultural competency skills and closing the achievement gap.

The purpose for the Achievement & Integration Plan 2014-2015 is to:

1.    Pursue racial and economic integration,

2.    Achieve academic achievement,

3.    Create equitable educational opportunities, and

4.    Reduce academic disparities based on students’ diverse racial, ethnic, and economic backgrounds.
