What Are the WMEP District and The FAIR School Achievement Goals for 2014-2015?

WMEP District Goals:

Math

  • All students grades 3-8, and 11 will improve math proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 37% for April 2014 to 55% in April 2015.
  • White students grades 3-8, and 11 will improve math proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 47% for April 2014 to 66% in April 2015.
  • Black students grades 3-8, and 11 will improve math proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 27% for April 2014 to 43% in April 2015.

Reading

  • All students grades 3-8, and 10 will improve reading proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 58% for April 2014 to 67% in April 2015.
  • White students grades 3-8, and 10 will improve reading proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 75% for April 2014 to 79% in April 2015.
  • Black students grades 3-8, and 10 will improve reading proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 43% for April 2014 to 54% in April 2015.

Science 

  • All students grades 5-12 will improve science proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 36% for April 2014 to 51% in April 2015.
  • White students grades 5-12 will improve science proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 56% for April 2014 to 66% in April 2015.
  • Black students grades 5-12 will improve science proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 15% for April 2014 to 30% in April 2015.

The FAIR School Goals:

Grade 11 Math

  • All students grade 11 will improve math proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 25% for April 2014 to 45% in April 2015.
  • White students grade 11 will improve math proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 34% for April 2014 to 66% in April 2015.
  • Black students grade 11 will improve math proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 14% for April 2014 to 43% in April 2015.

Grade 10 Reading 

  • All students grade 10 will improve reading proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 62% for April 2014 to 72% in April 2015.
  • White students grade 10 will improve reading proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 78% for April 2014 to 79% in April 2015.
  • Black students grade 10 will improve reading proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 37% for April 2014 to 54% in April 2015.

High School Science 

  • All students grades 9-12 will improve science proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 33% for April 2014 to 43% in April 2015.
  • White students grades 9-12 will improve science proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 57% for April 2014 to 67% in April 2015.
  • Black students grades 9-12 will improve science proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 6% for April 2014 to 21% in April 2015.

Grades 4-8 Math

  • All students grades 4-8 will improve math proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 37% for April 2014 to 47% in April 2015.
  • White students grades 4-8 will improve math proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 49% for April 2014 to 66% in April 2015.
  • Black students grades 4-8 will improve math proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 24% for April 2014 to 43% in April 2015.

Grades 4-8 Reading

  • All students grades 4-8 will improve reading proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 57% for April 2014 to 79% in April 2015.
  • White students grades 4-8 will improve reading proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 74% for April 2014 to 79% in April 2015.
  • Black students grades 4-8 will improve reading proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 41% for April 2014 to 54% in April 2015.

Grades 5-8 Science

  • All students grades 5-8 will improve science proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 37% for April 2014 to 47% in April 2015.
  • White students grades 4-8 will improve science proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 56% for April 2014 to 66% in April 2015.
  • Black students grades 4-8 will improve science proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 18% for April 2014 to 33% in April 2015.

Grade 3 Math

  • All students grade 3 will improve math proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 62% for April 2014 to 72% in April 2015.
  • White students grade grade 3 will improve math proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 58% for April 2014 to 68% in April 2015.
  • Black students grade 3 will improve math proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 70% for April 2014 and 72% in April 2015.

Grade 3 Reading 

  • All students grade 3 will improve reading proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 61% for April 2014 to 71% in April 2015.
  • White students grade grade 3 will improve reading proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 68% for April 2014 to 79% in April 2015.
  • Black students grade 3 will improve reading proficiency as measured by the MCAIII from 68% for April 2014 and 79% in April 2015.
