Attention Minnesota Superintendents:

Please join your colleagues at the Minnesota Superintendent Think Tank - the first of its kind, as we come together to collectively address the state’s persisting educational challenges.  Mark your calendars for thought-provoking conversations with each other and our panel of local and national experts. Now more than ever we must learn from each other and devise comprehensive plans to scale up successful practices within and across districts.

This event is not for the faint of heart, as it is designed to surface multiple perspectives that sharpen our thinking in a way that helps us work ‘smarter not harder.’ With a surplus of Fortune 500 companies in our backyard, it is imperative that we re-establish the state as a leader in public education and make our state Global Ready®. We want companies to recruit our students back to their home state after college. It’s good for our state. It’s great for our economy. It is our hope that this think tank will mark the beginning of a statewide effort to ensure that all students are not only competing at the highest levels nationally, but are on par with students internationally.

As we work towards a commitment to develop a plan to address persisting educational challenges, this will be a pivotal time to gain exposure to research and best practices, while engaging in collaborative conversation on disparities in the education system and driving systemic transformation.
