Announcements:

Added School Day for Students:
Since school was closed because of dangerous weather on Friday, February 21st, we had to add one additional day in order for students to receive the required 1,020 hours of instruction needed per school year. Instead of adding one more day in June, the Joint Powers Board approved the recommendation to make April 25th a student contact day instead of a staff development day. The process to change the calendar was outlined in the January/February FAIR Talk and revised April calendars were posted on Facebook during the month of March.

Friday, April 25th is a student contact day, and we are excited to continue the learning experience for students.

The WMEP Joint Powers Board voted to modify this year's school calendar to include three additional student days in June to make up for the three days that were lost to dangerously cold weather in January. You may read Superintendent Jett's letter here
