The following information is a checklist of the items, how-tos, and registrations our club needs in order for a student to attend. Please complete the to-dos for your student according to their current grade level.
6th GRADERS - FIRST LEGO LEAGUE (FLL)
This information is for 6th graders during the 2023-2024 school year.
Please complete the following tasks to fully register your student for FLL:
Complete this google form for general information
Submit the ACMS Enrichment Emergency Information Form (paper copy available at club meetings, at the office, or print/send with your student)
Submit your payment for your student's participation in the Robotics club ($75) and the t-shirt fee ($15)
- This fee is for EACH club, not an all encompassing club fee (ex. your student participates in cross-country and you paid $75, another $75 fee will need to be paid for the robotics club)
- Scholarships are available to cover both of these costs; please fill out this FEE WAIVER form and submit to the front office (printed copies available at club meetings and in the office, if needed)Register on the FIRST website
- The student's guardian is the one to register on FIRST
- Add your student to the FLL Team #928 (ACMS Cyborgs)
- Keep your eye on your email in the next couple months because we will need you to change the team for your student as we establish teams (this is a quick process and we will contact you directly with instructions for the change)Sign-up for the Remind account "@fllrobot23" (you do not need the app) to keep updated on meeting changes and important annoucements
7th/8th GRADERS - FIRST TECH CHALLENGE (FTC)
This information is for 6th graders during the 2023-2024 school year.
Please complete the following tasks to fully register your student for FLL:

COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS
Please complete the following ASAP so we can get you cleared and ready to volunteer with our awesome robotics students:
Fill out the HelpCounter Volunteer Application (Be sure to follow all directions and finish the application completely - a new window pops up for a portion and many forget to go back to the original link to finish the application)
Once the application is approved, create a HelpCounter account
If you are going to be one of our official coaches, I will need you to register with FIRST as a coach and do their background check; I will send you an invite link.
