Seniors, Faculty and Staff – Picture Day

Your picture day is TOMORROW (Thursday).  All must have an ID picture taken. Pictures will be taken on the stage in the auditorium.  You may come before school or early lunch or if you have a free period in the morning.  The photographer will leave at 1:00 pm TOMORROW.  If you cannot have your picture taken tomorrow or are only here in the afternoon, please come on Friday to have your picture taken, since the photographer will be here all day on Friday. 

Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors – Picture Day

You will have your ID and yearbook pictures taken this Friday, Aug. 25.  You will be dismissed from your homeroom / Commons to come to the stage in the auditorium.  If you have no free period come at 7:30 AM before classes.  If you are planning to be absent on Friday, you may come tomorrow (Thursday) before 1:00 pm. to have your picture taken. 

Jubilation Auditions

Auditions for Jubilation Handbell Choir will take place today (Wednesday) and tomorrow (Thursday).   Jubilation is open to freshmen through seniors.  To receive an information packet, see Mr. Pufahl in the Choral Office (Room 257A).  You sign up for an audition at room 263 (bring a pencil with you). 


If you are interested in serving on the Plautz Fund and did not get an application in your senior theology class, see Mr. Bowe by Friday. 

Office Runners (Helpers) Are Still Needed

Student runners (helpers) are needed for the following offices.  If you have any period free during the day and are interested in helping as a student runner/helper, stop by either of these offices TODAY to sign up.  

Central Office (Room 200) – Periods - 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (1 student needed per period) 

Attendance Office (Room 204) – Periods - 5, 7, 8 (2 students needed per period) 

Guidance Office (Room 234) – Periods - 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 (1 student needed per period) 

Wisco Pilot Meeting

The first all-staff meeting for the Wisco Pilot newspaper will take place TODAY (Wednesday), August 23 in Room 113 from 3:05-3:40 pm. If you are interested in participating in Pilot, but cannot come to the meeting, please see Ms. Grzanna in Room 208.

Private Music Lessons 

Lessons in Voice, Piano, Organ, Violin, and Guitar are offered at Wisconsin Lutheran High School.  If you are interested in taking music instruction in any of these areas please pick up an information/registration form in the choir office (room 257A). Employment Opportunity

Forward Exam Results Available

Any student who took the forward exam last Spring is free to come and pick up their test results from Ms. Baylor in the Guidance Office.


University of Wisconsin System Webinar

A free webinar is available for any students graduating in 2018 who need help to complete the application to any of the schools in the UW system. Webinar slots are available for August 24th, 29th, and 30th. You can sign up for the webinar by visiting



Boys Soccer News

Julian Kelly opened the scoring for the Vikings this year.  He was assisted by Jeremy Dela Cruz.  Evan Swiontek scored the second assisted by Seth Boese.  The Vikings held on for a 2-1 victory over Lakeside to open the season.

Cheerleading Tryouts

Tryouts for the 2017-2018 Cheerleading Program begin tomorrow (Thursday August 24th) from 

4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. in the Auditorium. Additional tryout days will also be held on Tuesday, August 29th and Thursday August 31st from 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Gym. Please email Coach Jess at for more information. See you there!
