About Me

I joined the philosophy department at UW-Madison in 2012 and was made full professor in 2023. Much of my research has been on Kant, early modern philosophy, and post-Kantian developments in German philosophy. In addition to these areas, I have also taught contemporary epistemology, intro to philosophy, and other courses. 

In my spare time I like to read novels, play the bass guitar, watch trashy tv, play tennis, and climb.
