It's an exciting time for politics in America. With decisions on some of the nation's most pressing issues hanging in the balance, the 2012 election season has become nothing short of groundbreaking. Especially in a swing-state like Wisconsin, there is no shortage of political passion.

Our staff, a group of Intermediate Reporting students from the UW-Madison School of Journalism & Mass Communication, has dived into the political ring to bring readers stories from every aspect of this election season. On Election Connection, you'll find stories focused on the UW campus, state-wide elections and political processes throughout the state. With direction from journalism professors Steven Walters and Patricia Hastings, we are dedicated to bringing readers election coverage from every angle of the spectrum.
