Student Declaration Celebration

Celebration Event- Thursday, March 19, 2015

For a student, declaring a major and being accepted into their program is a huge milestone in their college career that is not often acknowledged. Civil & Environmental Engineering and Geological Engineering are throwing the fourth-annual Student Declaration Celebration to mark this exciting step in their students’ paths through their degrees. New CEE and GLE majors, CEE and GLE alumni, faculty and staff, and current CEE and GLE students are invited to join in this celebration.

New students will get an overview of the different CEE and GLE disciplines and have a chance to talk with student organizations about getting involved. Alumni will also be there to welcome these new students into the CEE and GLE families and to start building a connection between students and alumni. This event offers a great opportunity for students to meet practicing civil and geological engineers as they begin to build their network and seek mentors who can also provide career advice. Please join us for this exciting event!
