Run for the Pig 5K- April 26, 2014

To benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

The Run For The Pig 5k is a run/walk hosted by the Brothers of Phi Delta Chi Fraternity in order to raise money for our national philanthropy, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  All proceeds collected will go directly to St. Jude to aid in their efforts of finding a cure for childhood cancers.  This event will be the 3rd annual 5k race and welcomes participants of all athletic skill levels.

The USATF certified 5K race course is held on the beautiful campus of Wingate University.  The course begins and ends at the promenade in the middle of campus.  Immediately following the race will be a pig pickin’ lunch and awards ceremony. Registration fee includes: race entry fee, bib number, t-shirt, a pig pickin’ plate and 1 raffle ticket. Additional plates and/or t-shirts can be purchased separately for spectators. T-shirts are not guaranteed for participants who register after April 4th and will be given out on a first come first serve basis.
