US Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots

posted Oct 19, 2017, 6:26 AM by Pamela Mattingly

The U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is collecting new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.  They need volunteers on October 27th from 9:30 to 2:30. We will also feed them while they are with us. The sorting is done on the Marine center on the military base in Smyrna. This is during a school day.  If a senior has good grades and attendance, I can grant them a principal discretion excused absence to participate.  The would need to turn in a parent note before the 27th.
