Michael Pigg, Principal 

Mr. Pigg has been an educator since 2005.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (Lipscomb University), a Master of Science in Mathematics (University of Tennessee), and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership (Carson-Newman University).  He spent just under 6 years teaching math at the high school and college levels prior to joining Watertown Elementary School as Assistant Principal in 2011.  He served WTE until 2014 at which time he became principal of Watertown Middle School at its new location (the former Watertown High School).  He is in his third year as principal of Watertown Middle School, and his primary responsibilities are hiring, evaluating, and retaining a highly qualified staff, developing and implementing the master schedule, compiling and presenting student achievement data, and overseeing the school budget.

Kayla Price, Assistant Principal

Mrs. Price formerly taught at Haynes Middle and Gra-Mar Elementary Schools (Metropolitan-Nashville Public Schools), Mt. Juliet Middle School (Wilson County Schools), Mason Early Childhood Center (Mason, OH), and W.A. Wright Elementary and Watertown Elementary Schools (Wilson County Schools).  In 2014, she became the assistant principal of Watertown Middle School.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Master of Education in Educational Leadership (Trevecca Nazarene University). Her primary responsibilities include site testing coordinator, textbook inventory designee, building and technology inventory designee, supervisor of school health and safety, discipline officer, teacher evaluator, and supervisor of continual school improvement.
