Registration for 2017-2018 School Year

Starting July 6, 2017 parents will be able to register their student(s) for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year.  Each family will be required to complete the following three tasks:

__1.  Log in to your Skyward account after July 6 and verify that all of the information is correct.  Many forms that parents are required to complete the first week of school will now only be available on Skyward.

__2.  Complete the “Returning Student Registration” form in Skyward.  This form is to be completed by all returning students.  The “New Student Registration” is for students entering Wilson County for the first time.  Returning Student Instructions will post to WCS website and Family Access closer to time.

__3.  Beginning July 6, 2017, you will need to upload two proofs of residency through Skyward or bring two original copies to the Watertown High School Attendance office where we will be stationed during construction.  In Wilson County Schools, students are required to provide two proofs of residency prior to the first day of school each school year.  Examples:  driver’s license, mortgage/lease statement or current public utility bill such as water, electric, or gas. Utility bills provided as proofs of residency must be dated July 1 or after and must be in the primary custodial parent’s name.   Approval and verification of these documents are at the discretion of Wilson County Schools.  Students will not be allowed to attend the first day of school without these documents previously submitted.

If your student is not living with both natural parents; proof of custody must be on file at school.  This may be either a copy of a divorce decree or parenting plan signed by a judge or a previously approved Power of Attorney.
