Sickness link provides a visual aid to questions of when students should stay at home and return to school after being sick. Thank you for doing your part in keeping all of our Rockets healthy.
Afternoon Procedures- Dismissing over 1000 students is quite a task. We appreciate your patience as our new students/teachers/parents are learning our routines. Our main priority is our students’ safety! Please help us by ensuring your child’s teacher is aware of a child’s dismissal plans in advance. We understand that some emergency situations may arise occasionally in which plans must change, but keeping dismissal plans consistent on most days is helpful for both students and teachers.
In the car rider line, pay close attention to the directional signs as well as the adults directing traffic. Please put your cell phones away so you can be vigilant to your surroundings. And, always keep a close eye out for students and adults that might be walking to and from vehicles.
Cafeteria- Each student has been assigned a 5 digit lunch code. Please work with your child to memorize the code so they can go through the lunch line quickly and efficiently. As a reminder, monthly menus and pricing can be found at the www.wcschools.com under the “Parents” tab and choosing “Food and Nutrition”. You can also find the “Parent On-line Meal Purchasing” information.
Positions available for cafeteria monitors- We are in need of monitors for our cafeterias. The hours are approximately 10:30-12:15 daily. If you are interested in applying, please contact Kathy Drummond at 615-453-7333.
What to do if you have dismissal changes for your child?-We must be notified in the school office
if you need to change dismissal plans for your child.
We ask that you try your hardest to get these changes taken
care of before school begins in the morning and notify your child’s
teacher via email or note. However, we realize there are circumstances
that sometimes arise where you need to make alterations after school begins. If
this is the case, please remember you MUST notify the front office staff prior
