Leigh Ann Rainey, Principal

Mrs. Rainey has been in education since 1997.   Mrs. Rainey has taught everything from AP Biology to Environmental Science in several grade levels. In 2009, Rainey was chosen to be the School Intervention/RTI Specialist for Jonesboro High School in Arkansas, where she was later promoted to Assistant Principal, and then Executive Principal. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Tennessee at Martin, a Master of Arts degree in Instruction and Curriculum Leadership from the University of Memphis, a Building Level Program of Study certification from Arkansas State University, and is  currently finishing up her Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University.

Kelly Vallas, Assistant Principal

Mrs. Vallas began her career in education in 2008.  Prior to coming to MJMS in 2015,  she taught science at Wilson Central High School and also served as the cheerleading coach.  She holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences, an M.S. in Science and Mathematics Education, and an Ed.S. in Instructional Leadership.

Dr. Cathy Toombs, Assistant Principal

 Dr. Toombs began teaching in 1975.  She spent 17 years as a classroom teacher and 23 years as an administrator at MJHS, LHS, WCHS, and MTSU.  She has a B.S. in Speech Communication and English and an M.Ed., Ed.S., and Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction.

Jeremy Willis, Assistant Principal

Mr. Willis graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale where he earned a B.S. in History Education with a minor in English. He earned a Masters In Administration from MTSU. He has been an educator since 1993 and has been in Wilson County Schools since 1997.
