Registering a New Student for Kindergarten - 5th Grade

  • If your child has never been enrolled or received any other student services in Wilson County Schools, please complete the on-line enrollment by clicking here Once you are on the home page click on Parents and then New Student Enrollment from the drop down box (Be sure and choose 16-17 school year).
  •  Sibling already enrolled in Wilson County Schools?  Please enroll your student through Family Access.  If you do not have your user name & password, please contact the school at 615-758-5619.
  •  If your incoming student is enrolled in Pre-K Program or is currently receiving student services through a Wilson County School, your student has already been enrolled and you will not need to complete the on-line enrollment process.
  • After you have completed your on-line enrollment, please schedule an appointment for one of the New Student Registration dates, July 18th, July 19th or July 20th from 8:30 am – 2:00 pm by clicking here.

  •  If you are moving to Lakeview Elementary School from another public or private school inside or outside the state of Tennessee, you will need a copy of the withdrawal form (this way we know the student is no longer on the roll at the former school). A copy of the student's transcript/recent report card is helpful.  See below for other required documents. Once all paperwork is on file and the student is enrolled, we will request the students' records from the previous school.

  •  Home schooled students will need a copy of the withdrawal from the home school program and a copy of the report card/transcript.

(The custodial parent/legal guardian must come in during their scheduled appointment time to complete the registration process; provide several important documents for registration):

  • Certified Birth Certificate
  •  Social Security Card (Requested)
  • Tennessee School Immunization Certificate - All students are required to have their up to date immunizations turned in by the start of school.  If you are enrolling a Kindergarten or a student from out of state, we must have an immunization on a Tennessee certificate and a physical within a year of the start date of school.  If you do not meet these requirements, please be sure and schedule an appointment with your health care provider as soon as possible (appointments can also be scheduled through the health department at 615-444-5325);
