Wilson County students are enjoying healthy new choices in their cafeterias.

Wilson County is serving school meals that meet tough new federal nutrition standards, ensuring that meals are healthy, well-balanced and provide students all the nutrition they need to succeed at school.

School meals offer students milk, fruits and vegetables, proteins and grains, and they must meet additional standards requiring:

  • Age-appropriate calorie limits
  • Larger servings of vegetables and fruits (students must take at least one serving of produce)
  • A wider variety of vegetables, including dark green and red/orange vegetables and legumes
  • Fat-free or 1% milk (flavored milk must be fat-free)
  • More whole grains
  • And less sodium

We are always working to offer students healthier and tastier choices.

School meals are a great value and a huge convenience for busy families.

Important Reminders: All checks written to the cafeteria need to be made out to Lakeview  Elem.  Please include a current address & phone number and add the student’s name at the bottomAll checks must be written in black or blue inkNo markers or red ink pens, please.


Payments can also be made via  You will need your child's ID # and lunch code to initially set up an account.  

(Please note: It may take up to 24 hours for your child's account to update).


Please help your child learn their lunch codes- it’s a 5 digit number that their teacher will give to them.  (see attachment)


If you filled out a free or reduced lunch form for school lunches, please return them to the cafeteria.
