  • TONIGHT is our very first Lip Sync Battle hosted by the theatre department! The show begin at 6 PM and tickets are only $5. Come out and support your fellow blue Devils!
  • Today is the deadline for buying prom tickets and turning in non-LHS attendee forms. Tickets can be purchased at the bank with cash or check during lunch or online at the LHS homepage with debit or credit.  Prom tickets will be available for pick up on Wednesday, March 29. Listen to announcements next week for more details.
  • Softball had a big win last night starting off the season 9-3 over Mount Juliet. Congratulate those girls when you see them today!
  • Any ladies interested in joining the marching band's colorguard should see Mr. Spear or Mr. Channell at some point today or early next week in room A703. Spring practices and auditions will begin very soon. 
  • Soccer will have our first home match against Beech tomorrow at 2:00. Come support the team in an important district match! Lebanon students get free admission.
  • There will be a short volleyball meeting Tuesday   March 28th for all girls interested in participating in volleyball next year. Please meet in Coach A.D.'s  classroom, room A500, right after school. 
  • The boys tennis team defeated Cookeville yesterday with a score of 5-4 after a clutch win from Elijah Alexander. Also winning for LHS were Tyler Garvin, John Kelley, Giovanni Santos, and Kaleb Jasper. Next match is Saturday at Blackman.
  • If you are interested in being on yearbook staff next year, you MUST fill out an application. You can't only put it on your schedule in skyward. See guidance for an application.

  • Only two more days to buy your prom tickets!  The last day to buy prom tickets and turn in non-LHS prom attendee forms is tomorrow, Friday, March 24. Tickets can be purchased at the bank with cash or check or online at the LHS homepage with debit or credit.
  • There will be a Beta club chapter meeting this afternoon in Mrs. Carpenters room, B208.
  • There will be a student council meeting this afternoon in the library.
  •  Mr. Wilson will be holding AP Euro reviews in preparation for the AP exam in his room every Wednesday and Thursday after school starting today. 
  • Anyone who successfully donated blood at the school blood drive needs to go see Mrs. Tomlinson in room C304.

  • HOSA state competitors need to meet this afternoon in Mrs. Warde's room C306.
  • Student council will meet tomorrow afternoon in the library.
  • Lebanon Ladies will meet this afternoon in Dr. Hargis's room B213.
  • This Friday is the lip sync battle! Teachers and students will be performing and they will be competing for cash prizes. The performances begin at 6 PM and tickets are only $5.
  • The soccer team will play in their first game of the season tonight against Gallatin. JV plays at 5 and varsity plays at 7 at Gallatin. Come out and support your blue Devils!
  • Cheerleading tryouts are April 5-7 in the small gym. You may pick up packets in Ms. Hollingsworth's room A202.

  • LHS is hosting an event at LHS this Wednesday, March 22nd from 6:00-8:00 PM.  This is a very important and timely presentation that addresses the world that our children encounter online.  The intended audience is parents and teachers of children who use social media (mostly 6-12 grade).  We are inviting the community of Lebanon to this event.  Parking will be in the side, student parking lot.  Participants may enter the building through the commons entrance, and the presentation will take place in our auditorium.  

The presentation is called Project iGuardian and is presented by Agent Dennis Fetting from Homeland Security.  We want all of our Blue Devils and future Blue Devils’ families to take advantage of this opportunity. Details about the presentation can be found here.

  • The Video Game Club will have their next Super Smash Brothers tournament this Friday, March 24 after school from 2:20 to 4:00.  Pre-registration is required.  Sign-up at the Video Game Club link on the LHS website by Thursday, March 23 at 2:20.
  • The boys tennis team defeated Oakland yesterday at Old Fort Park with a score of 5-2. Winning for LHS were John Kelley, Kaleb Jasper, Elijah Alexander, Yagnik Patel, and Tyler Garvin who rallied from being down 1-4 to win 8-6. Also winning #1 doubles for the girls team were Morgan Harmon and Sidney Kurtz. Next match is Wilson Central today at home with a possible make-up date of Wednesday.
  • All HOSA state competitors need to attend a brief meeting in Mrs. Warde's room after school on Wednesday.
  • The lip sync battle is this Friday night! Come out and support your peers and theatre department and enjoy the show. Tickets are $5 and it begins at 6 PM.
  • SportsClips in Lebanon has donated coupons for free haircuts for new clients and free upgrades for returning clients.  Stop by the bank to pick one up or see Mrs. Davis in room B303.  They expire March 30, so hurry and get yours today!

  • Cheerleading try out packets are available March 20-22 in room A202 (Ms. Hollingsworth's room).
  • If you want to be a part of the lip sync battle, you may DM a video of your act to the LHS theatre twitter account as an audition before Wednesday. If you have any questions, see Ms. Solsberg in room A702.
  • There will be a student council meeting Thursday afternoon in the library.

  • The boys and girls tennis team defeated Gallatin yesterday 13-1. Winners for LHS included Tyler Garvin, John Kelley, Giovanni Santos, Gavin Duvall, Elijah Alexander, Morgan Harmon, Sidney Kurtz, Adyson Palmer, Nicole Bashour, and Mattie Post. Next match is today at Macon County.
  • If you are on the prom committee you must see or email Mrs. Davis any time before the end of the day on Thursday, March 9 for important information about prom.
  • Just a quick reminder, if you will be a senior next year and are planning to take the Criminal Justice Job Shadow course, you need to turn your applications in to Mr. Lakeman by Friday.
  • There will be no student council meeting today. Instead, we will meet the week we return.
  • Seniors, if you are applying for the alumni brick scholarship, please remember the entire application including teacher and guidance forms is due tomorrow.
  • HOSA state competitors need to see Mrs. Warde before the end of the day today.

  • Any upcoming Junior or Senior who plans to take Work-Based Learning (Co-op) next year, must get an application from guidance or Mrs. Major.  Applications are due by Friday, March 10th.
  • The humane society will meet this afternoon in room C200.

  • Any student interested in being in the BANK class next year needs to turn their application in by this Friday. No applications will be accepted after spring break. 
  • All groups involved in the lip sync contest will need to have their song prepared to show Ms. Solsberg this Friday, March 10, after school.
  • The Humane Society will meet  Tuesday afternoon at 2:20 in C-200.

  • Boys' Soccer will be scrimmaging against Smith County today at home. JV plays at 4:30, and Varsity at 6:00. Admission is free.
  • Student council is selling spirit shirts at the bank. They are $16 and you must order before April 13. Check social media and the board outside the bank for the design.
  • You can still sign up for the lip sync contest! Auditions are tomorrow after school in the auditorium. See the information sheet on the auditorium doors for more info.

  • Today is the last day to purchase prom tickets and receive a free t-shirt for each ticket. Tickets can be purchased today at the bank during lunch or online at the link on the LHS homepage. Payments online must be received before midnight in order to get your free shirt.
  • If you paid your prom or senior fee online please stop by the bank to let us know your sizes by Friday.
  • All upcoming 11th and 12th grade students wishing to register for Clinical internship needs to pick up an application from Mr. Darley or Mrs. Warde.  Applications need to be returned by Friday.
  • Seniors, there is a mandatory TN Promise meeting coming up, so make sure you check your email. You may not miss any meetings and maintain your TN Promise.
