  • If any junior was not in the junior meeting yesterday, please see Ms. Peterson in room B203 for important information about your upcoming senior year.
  • Congratulations to the track team who had 2 state championship qualifiers yesterday. Ashley Grimes will compete at state in the 300 Hurdles, and  Irvaughn Dewberry qualified in high jump. Also, congratulations to Jason Kintzler for breaking the high hurdles school record. 

Anyone interested in cross country needs to see Coach Ford at some point today.

The track and boys soccer banquet is tomorrow night at 6 PM in the cafeteria.

  • I'm pleased to announce the results of the Junior class president election yesterday, Julia Stranahan will be your president next year!
  • There will be a student council meeting tomorrow afternoon in the library.

  • If you are a current sophomore, the new vote for president will take place today. Check social media and the school webpage for the link to vote. To vote, you must use your county google email.
  • Congratulations to Giovanni Santos and Kaleb Jasper on becoming the region 5AAA doubles runner-up yesterday at Drakes Creek park. They defeated Clarksville in the semi-finals. Congrats on a great playoff run.
  • If you didn't pick up your yearbook yesterday or want to purchase one, see Ms. Peterson in room B203.
  • The theater 3/4 showcase is this Friday night at 6 PM in the auditorium. Tickets are $3, and students get in free with a student ID. Please come out and support these outstanding students.
  • The dance showcase is tonight in the auditorium at 6:30. Tickets are $3, and students get in free with a student ID. Come out and support these students!

  • Students taking the world history AP exam will test in room A111 this morning.
  • There will be a silent auction in front of the bank today. Come check out the baskets made by the soccer players and place your bid! Bidding will take place today and tomorrow.
  • Be sure to sign up to enter the Super Smash Bros. tournament on Saturday, May 13.  Details are on the Video Game Club website.  First prize is a $50 gift card to Gamestop!
  • National Honor Society elections will be Monday after school in Ms. Lane’s room.  Candidates, please come with a speech prepared, see Ms. Lane or Dr. Hargis this week to submit your bid for nomination.
  • The blue and white football game has been rescheduled for this afternoon at 1:00. The bank will be open all day today so you may purchase your $1 wristband before the beginning of the game.

  • The track team competed at their sub-sectional championship down at Brentwood and had tremendous success. They set 6 new school records and qualified 13 athletes in 15 events for Sectionals (which is last step before the State Championship) with some in multiple events.  Please congratulate the following athletes:

  • Extra prom shirts are on sale at the bank during lunch.  Prices range from $3 to $8.
  • Tickets for senior movie night are on sale at the bank. Movie night is next Friday night, so make sure you purchase yours. It's $2 for admission and $5 for admission and a food pass.
  • The blue and white football game is this Friday during 5th block. Go get your $1 wristband from the bank so you can go!
  • If anyone is still interested in being in the Miss or Miss-ter LHS pageant, please see Mrs. Davis. The pageant is Saturday night, and please come out and support your fellow classmates and FBLA.
  • The Humane Society will meet Thursday after school in Ms. Jordan’s room (C-200).
  • Textbooks are due this week!!!  Please bring your textbooks to your teachers, so they can be checked in and returned to the textbook rooms.
  • There will be a girls soccer interest meeting this Friday , May 12, 2:30 in room A104. This meeting is open to both students and parents interested in trying out for girls soccer this coming Fall season. Please see Ms. Gibbs in room B207 if you are unable to attend.
  • Lebanon Select will meet this afternoon in the choir room to prepare for graduation.

  • Any current SkillsUSA members who would like to run for an Officer position need to pick up a packet from Mrs. Morgan at the end of the day on Monday. There will be a mandatory meeting for all SkillsUSA members on Wednesday, May 10th after school. We will elect our officers for next year at this meeting, so make plans to attend. There will also be a ProStart meeting after school on Wednesday in the Cafe.
  • There will be a BETA club meeting this Thursday in room B208.
  • We are rapidly running out of yearbooks! Make sure you keep an eye on the countdown by the bank, and make sure you purchase yours before we run out! You don't want to miss out on this year's awesome edition of Souvenir.
  • Student council elections are this Friday during lunch. Make sure you check out the posters in the central stairs and the interviews that will air on BDN later this week so you can pick the best candidate.
  • The final issue of The Devils' Advocate honoring our senior class will be available during lunch today. Be sure to check it out!

  • The LHS Video Game Club is hosting a community Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tournament on Saturday, May 13.  Pre-registration is required.  Go to the LHS website, click Clubs then Video Game Club for more information and links to register.
  • The Theatre 2 Showcase is this Saturday at 4 PM. Tickets are $1 at the door and LHS students get in free when they show their ID.

  • Students taking the AP Literature exam, your testing location has been moved to rooms B109, B110, and B112.
  • Senior movie night tickets are on sale at the bank. Tickets are $2 and it's $5 for a ticket and a food pass. We will be voting on the movie soon, so keep an eye on the Senior Twitter.
  • Congratulations to tennis players Giovanni Santos and Kaleb Jasper on becoming the district 9AAA doubles runner-up yesterday at Drakes Creek Park. Gio and Kaleb have now qualified for the Region 5 AAA tournament which will be held on May 15.
  • Don’t forget the deadline to enter the Miss-Ter AND Miss LHS Pageant is this Friday. Bring your money to the bank.
  • Yearbooks are still available for purchase on a first-come basis. Yearbooks are $85 and will be distributed on May 15th. Students may purchase from Ms. Peterson in B203. Students who purchase a yearbook will be invited to the signing day party.
  • Student council election packets are due to Mrs. Sudduth by this Friday at 2:30 in room B200. 

All students planning to run for office must attend the mandatory campaign meeting this afternoon in the library.

Seniors, remember if you want a student council graduation cord, bring $6 to Mrs. Goodman in room B206 by this Friday.

  • Congratulations to tennis doubles team Giovanni Santos and Kaleb Jasper on advancing to the district semi-finals today at Drakes Creek Park. The LHS team will play in the team semi-finals Thursday, also at Drakes Creek Park.
  • There will be an AP European History review day this Saturday from 9-12 in the cafeteria. Please bring $3 for pizza.
  • Tonight is the last home baseball game of the year. They will honor seniors at 5:30 before the game begins at 6. Please come out and support your seniors and baseball team.
  • Seniors, please make sure you return your blue forms to guidance and see Mrs. Heidi if you think you qualify for distinction.

  • The JV soccer team won all 3 of our matches this weekend. Scoring for the Blue Devils were Spencer Lowery, Daniel Calderon, and Tanner Myers. The defense, lead by keeper Gustavo Martinez, only allowed 1 goal in 3 matches. Tonight, soccer takes on Wilson Central at home. JV starts at 5, Varsity at 7. Come support the team in the biggest rivalry match of the season!
  • Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the theatre department this weekend. We hope you enjoyed High School Musical!
