  • Anyone interested in playing tennis this year needs to get paperwork from Coach Walker today in room B319.
  • Next Tuesday’s basketball game, January 24th is a PINK OUT game to show support for those battling all types of cancer.
  • We have a huge rivalry game at home tonight against Mt. Juliet. Our theme is sportscenter, so come out in your favorite jersey to support your blue devils. Girls tip off at 6:30, boys to follow.

  • There is a BETA club meeting Monday afternoon in Ms. Carpenters room B208.
  • Seniors: Reminder that your senior fee is due February 10th.  Pay at the Blue Devil Bank or on-line.
  • Also, if you have not signed to make sure your name is correct for your diploma, please stop by A100.
  • Remember to vote for your favorite Blue Devil Athlete for the month of January.  Vote every day as many times as you want through Friday January 20th at 2pm.  The athlete with the most votes on the website will be the winner.
  • Sign-ups for the video game tournament on Friday, January 19 are available on the Video Game Club website.  The tournament will be held in room B303 from 2:20 to 4:00.
  • Lebanon Select choir will resume rehearsals on Tuesday afternoon in the choir room. 
  • The call back list for High School Musical has been posted on the auditorium doors. If your name is on the list, please be in the auditorium at 2:30 this afternoon.
  • We will hold elections for homecoming outside the cafeteria during lunch today. So stop by to cast your vote!

  • The sale price of the yearbook has been extended! You can still purchase a book for $75 until this Friday. See Ms. Peterson in room B203 or the bank to purchase.
  • Seniors if you have a baby picture you’d like to submit for the senior night slideshow, please turn that in to the bank by Friday.

  • High school musical auditions begin today at 2:30, so make sure you are in the auditorium ready to dance.
  • Blue Devils journey towards a state championship came to an end yesterday as they faced the Overton Bobcats : 18 ½  to  8 ½ .The Blue Devils gave an awesome run this year ….. can’t wait to see what next season has in store.  The blue devils ended with a   [ 19 - 3 record, District 12 Champs, Region 6 Runner-ups.  High Game Scores : Jarred Bradshaw (224), and Tyler Moore (220). Playing at the same center where their season ended last year, the Lady Blue Devils journey towards a state championship got one step closer Saturday in their sectional (sub-state) tournament against the Lady Raptors of Ravenwood with a   21  to  6  victory.  The Lady Devils advance to the 2017 TSSAA State Bowling Championship this Friday/Saturday.  Wish these ladies good luck as they will face seven of the toughest teams across the state.  Congrats Lady Devils. High Game Scores : Lindsay Manning (227), and Hattie Isham (197)[ Lady Blue Devils :  21 – 1  ]Three individuals will be competing against 80 top athletes from across the state this Thursday/Friday: your Lady Blue Devil – Lindsay Manning, and your Blue Devils – Jarred Bradshaw and Tyler Moore.  Wish these athletes good luck in hopes to bring home an individual state championship title.
  • It's time to vote for your favorite student athlete of the month for January. Vote as many times as you want every day through this Friday at 2pm. The winner will be posted on Friday by 3:00 pm.  gobluedevilsathletics.com

  • The Blue Devils faced the Red Hawks of Creek Wood in the semi-final round yesterday, and came away victorious with a  20 to 7  victory.  During the final round, your LHS Blue Devils competed against the White House Blue Devils.  The Blue Devils put up a hard fight, but in the end, the Blue Devils came up short for bringing back home the regional championship with a 21 to 6  loss to White House.  Since your Blue Devils won the semi round against Creek Wood, they are now on to Sectionals next Monday (January 16th).  Wish these Blue Devils good luck during their sectional match, a win there advances them to compete for the State Bowling Championship on January 20th .  Congratulations Blue Devils.High Game Scores : Tyler Moore (258, 241, 200, 258, 204), Jarred Bradshaw (2219, 202, 215), Tyler Burton (215, 216, 205), Ethan Smiley (228), and Nick Anderson (233)  [ Blue Devils :  19 – 2        Lady Blue Devils :  20 – 1  ]
  • Please come out and support your Lady Blue Devils (tomorrow at Franklin Lanes in Franklin – 9:00am) as they take on the Lady Raptors of Ravenwood; coming away with the ‘W’ will advance the Lady Devils to the 2017 TSSAA State Bowling Championship on January 20th .
  • Also, come out and support your Blue Devils (Monday at Tusculum Strike & Spare in Nashville) as they take on the Bobcats of Overton; coming away with the victory will advance the Blue Devils to the 2017 TSSAA State Bowling Championship on January 20th .
  • Lebanon Freshman Boys defeated Beech. 69-34 last night to move to 8-2 on the season. Polo Phillips led with 19 points. David Greene had 15 and Gaven Reasonover had 12. Next game is on Monday at home against Portland.
  • High School musical auditions are next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, so if you are interested in auditioning, make sure you see Ms. Solsberg in room A702 sometime today.
  • Seniors, if you have not signed the senior sign out, go see Ms. Peterson in room B203 to do so.
  • Today is the last day to purchase yearbooks for $75. Next week the price will increase to $85. Since the bank will be closed today, see Ms. Peterson in room B203.

  • LHS PTO Meeting tonight at 6 pm in LHS Library. All parents and teachers are invited! Please plan to attend!
  • The prom committee will meet this afternoon in Mrs. Kristie Davis’ classroom B303.
  • There will be a mandatory YIG meeting today in room B 107.
  • The price of the yearbook will increase to $85 tomorrow. Be sure to purchase one this week!
  • Seniors if you have any baby pictures or best friend photos that you would like to be included in the Senior night slideshow, you can turn them into the bank before next Tuesday. Please make sure you write your name on the photo.
  • There will be a student council meeting this afternoon in the library.

  • Coming off of winning the District 12 Championship, the Lady Devils held nothing back yesterday during the semis and final round of the regional tournament held in Crossville.  The Lady Devils faced the Lady Hawks of Creek Wood in the semi-final round, and came away victorious with a 19 ½  to 7 ½  victory.  During the final round, it was a Blue Devil Squared show down – your LHS Lady Blue Devils vs the White House Lady Blue Devils.  Strike after strike, spare after spare, your Lady Devils pushed forth to defeat the WH Lady Devils, but came up short in the end; ending their perfect record season with a 22 to 5  loss.  Since your Lady Blue Devils won the semi round, they are now on to Sectionals this Saturday (January 14th).  Wish these Lady Devils good luck during their sectional match, a win there advances them to compete for the 2017 TSSAA State Bowling Championship on January 20th .  Congratulations Lady Blue Devils.High Game Scores : Lindsay Manning (187, 214, 200, 209, 172, 201), Amber Brakefield (204, 187), Kaitlyn Dedman (170, 192, 171), and Hattie Isham (171, 189)  [ Blue Devils :  18 – 1        Lady Blue Devils :  20 – 1  ]Please come out and support your Blue Devils (tomorrow at Bowling World in Cookeville – 12:00pm) as they take on the winners of the York vs Creek Wood match happening later this afternoon.  Regional Finals will start at 2:00pm following the semis.  Wish your Blue Devils good luck as they roll their way to bring home the Regional Championship two years in a row.

  • Students be reminded that auditions for High School Musical are January 17, 18, 19 and ALL information is posted outside the auditorium doors and along the fine arts hallway. Audition forms, crew forms, and sheet music are available in Ms. Solsberg’s room A702.
  • If there are any student council officers who have not had their picture taken for the yearbook, you need to stay after school in the library today to take your picture or you won’t be in the yearbook!
  • There will be a key club meeting this afternoon in Mrs. Channell’s room B309, and there will be a makeup meeting tomorrow morning at 6:45 if you can’t attend this afternoon.
