Kickapoo Boys Trip

For boys from ANY school district completing grades 7-9 this school year, this trip is designed to be an introduction into the world of back country wilderness travel and canoeing.  You will spend Monday through Friday of your first week on-course at Wildlands School learning valuable skills and techniques essential for safe, successful wilderness travel.  Spend a day on the water learning basic paddling strokes, standing empties, and deep water T-rescues.  Learn how to effectively use dry bags, back country stoves, water filters, and form strong friendships with your fellow trekkers.

You'll spend the second week on-course on the banks of the beautiful and wild Kickapoo River.  We'll spend a night at Wildcat State park, then depart on an overnight voyage and camp along the river side.  The trip will be 3-days and 2-nights.
